The Woodcraft Folk is a children's educational movement. The work of the Woodcraft Folk for more than seventy-five years has been to develop self-confidence and ability of children to act in society, and to promote values based on equality, peace, social justice and co-operation. What do the children do?
They do arts, crafts, games; they go camping, on visits, on walks to find fossils - in recent months children at local Woodcraft groups have created miniature gardens, been on a cycle ride and enjoyed a picnic, visited a lifeboat station, made paper lanterns and much more.
